Criteria for participation in Blooming Hills 2009

•You must have completed an entry form and returned it by the deadline (Friday 17th April), enclosing the entry fee to be included in the event.

•The theme is open

•Displays can be internal or/and external

•There is no restriction on size, style or shape of your display

•All plant material must be of good quality and in good condition

•No artificial, dyed or surface coloured plant material should be used, although preserved, dried or woven natural material is acceptable

•Exhibits may be embellished with ribbons or other decorations, providing they do not detract from the plant material

•In keeping with the spirit of the competition we encourage all businesses to produce their displays themselves.

•All displays must be completed by 9am on Thursday 7th May for judging on this day

•Best use of plant material

•Overall impression - impact and originality

•Overall design – unity, balance and scale

•Creativity and effort
