Marketing – Matt Walker

Matt is co-owner of Leaf coffee and food house on Edith Walk.

After obtaining a BA(hons)degree in Graphic Design at Surrey institute of Art & DesignMatt moved to London for 9 years and after following a career in Graphic design Matt set up a design agency (Live-creative) in Islington in 2002 dealing with small independent businesses all the way upto large blue chip clients. Live-creative covered everything from branding, naming, positioning, advertising, web design and types of print based design above and below the line.

Matt’s experience gives GMAT a unique opportunity to utilise his design and branding skills to develop a GMAT brand that can distinguish Malvern, along with producing literature which will be used .

Projects & Events – Angela Walker

Angela launched Leaf Coffee and Food House with her husband, Matt, in Dec 06. In addition to Leaf, Angela also works for Event companies organising consumer and trade events.

Angela lived in London for nine years working as an Operations Manager for The Business Design Centre in Islington, BBC Haymarket Exhibitions and CMP information organising shows such as The Country Living Fair, The London Contemporary Art Fair, The BBC Good Food Show and the BBC Good Homes Show.

Angela will ensure that Malvern traders are at the heart of plans for current and new Malvern events in the future, her expertise in this field will provide invaluable support.

Projects & Events – Susie Chambers

Susie is co-owner of bahoo in Graham Road, selling shoes and gifts to boys and girls, established March 2007. In 1996, she gained a BA (Hons) Business Studies (Marketing) degree from Staffordshire University. Following 10 years working in Sports Sponsorship and Hospitality where Susie was responsible for organising events and developing plans for clients to maximise their sponsorship properties, she moved to Malvern to set-up bahoo.

Along with Angela, Susie will be providing event support to GMAT.
